WOW, what can I say about this amazing six-piece set? It is absolutely lovely and what a gift it would make for that special someone. This complete serving set comes with the tray, two lided pitchers, a sugar bowl with a lid, and a creamer.
All pieces are marked on the bottom Sheridan Silverplated.
White and lavender flowers sit stop green leaves that make up this super cute bonsai tree. Each of the flower petals as well as the leaves are wire attached to a ceramic "tree trunk". The trunk is then set into a light green glass base and scattered with pebbles.
This is an amazing and VERY RARE piece of Americana in exceptional vintage condition. This piece is by Charles W Crankshaw and shows a porcelain painted watermelon in the bowl of the spoon and an engraved portrait of a little black boy on the shank. The back is marked Charles W. Crankshaw and Sterling. In addition the initials C.A and 1897 are engraved at the tip of the handle.
