This week, my heart is full of gratitude for my sister, Stacy. đź’•
When Mom fell, it changed everything. Suddenly, there were doctor visits, daily care routines, and all the little things we take for granted; cooking, cleaning, making sure she gets her medicine, helping her get dressed, even just keeping her company when the house feels too quiet.
Stacy stepped up to do all of it. She’s there every day, doing what needs to be done, waiting on Mom hand and foot, helping Dad manage the things he can’t do alone, and keeping the household running without complaint. She doesn’t look for recognition or sympathy. She just does it.
Because of her, I’ve been able to keep Tonitunes running, photographing, listing, packaging, answering messages, and keeping the dream alive that I’ve spent years building with my own hands. If she weren’t holding down the fort, none of this would be possible.
It’s funny… not so long ago, Stacy doubted she could stand on her own after her marriage ended. She didn’t believe she had it in her. But what I see now is a woman who’s stronger, more capable, and more determined than she’s ever been.
I’m proud of her. I love her. And today, I’m deeply thankful for her.
Family doesn’t mean one person doing everything: it means each of us doing what we can so everything gets done. And she’s doing more than her share, with heart and grace. 🕊️
